Donte Maurice Cleaves is 28 years old and was born in Milwaukee, WI. He is the oldest of 3 children and his best friend and mother is Linda Cleaves. Donte earned a B.A in Political Science/Education at Fisk University in Nashville TN, then 4 masters degrees at Peabody College at Vanderbilt University for Institutional Advancement, Student Personnel Services, Higher Education Administration, and School Administration. His hobbies and talents are tennis, jazz and classical music, listening and singing them both, laughing and eating. Professionally, he owns and directs Mini Rockstars Child Care Center in Nashville TN, and loves the academic development of children. On September 20, 2008, he will marry his gorgeous fiance’ Kuiana Powell of 2 and a half years and they will hopefully live happily ever after. One of his sayings for life, especially when it is not going well, is to “get over it and move on, change the things that you can change and let God work on the rest.”
